Partnering for Generosity

At Grandmother Collective, we envision a world where the power of elder women is visible, valued, and activated to drive positive impact. Partnering with GivingTuesday Africa Hub advances this shared vision, uniting a globally engaged collective of grandmothers and grandmother-focused organizations with one of the most powerful movements for generosity in the world.

Please join us for an inspiring one-hour conversation honoring the impact and wisdom of elder women. Generosity, Culture, and the Systems Grandmothers Build is all about grandmother leadership and generosity. Joining us for the conversation are three visionary leaders who have dedicated their careers working alongside grandmothers and elder women strengthening our communities: Ruth Ochieng, former Executive Director of Isis-WICCE; Karine Sar, Director for Africa at Barefoot College International; and Jacqueline Asiimwe, Chief Executive Officer, at CivSource Africa. During the webinar, you will also learn how to host a Tea for Change during Generosity Week, December 1-5.

Tea for Change Toolkit

Across cultures and generations, gathering over tea has provided a special, joyful space for women to slow down, connect, and care for one another. When we share a cup, we create a welcoming bridge across our communities—turning everyday conversations into powerful moments of unity.

Together, elder women hold deep wisdom, lived experience, and natural leadership capable of healing, uplifting, and building a brighter future. By gathering over tea, we claim our collective strength, celebrate our stories, and activate local solutions that bring hope and positive impact to the world around us

Inside this downloadable kit, you’ll find inspiring stories of grandmothers transforming lives around the globe, and a simple plan to host your own Tea for Change.

If you have questions about this kit or would like to connect with our team as you are planning your Tea for Change, please email us at info@grandmothercollective.org. We’d love to learn about the impact you and grandmothers in your community are driving!

Together, let’s create a better world! Click on the button below to download your toolkit.
