Join us for the Fall Community Meeting, an ONLINE gathering dedicated to discussing the growth and impact of the Grandmother Collective. This event marks an important step toward transforming our network into a collective that is driven by the needs and desires of its members and network.
Who should come?
If you are part of a member organization, receive the newsletter, follow us on social media, are a part of our Facebook group, listen to the Grandma Magic podcast, or have participated in a webinar, workshop, course, or event – you are part of us! This meeting is for everyone who believes we can build a better world by following the examples of grandmother and intergenerational groups that center their work on principles like empathy, compassion, and collaboration.
The meeting will be hosted TWICE on September 10th – in the morning and evening Eastern US/ Philadelphia Time. You should plan to just attend one of the meetings as we will cover the same material in each.
At this meeting, we will:
Reflect on Our Journey: Review the insights from the Global Symposium on Grandmother Leadership and Social Change held in May 2024
Hear from the Community: Create an open platform for members across our community to voice their needs, desires, and aspirations for the future of the collective.
Strategize Together: Collaboratively contribute to a roadmap for the future to ensure our structure and activities align with the shared goals and priorities of our members.
Build Stronger Connections: Foster deeper connections among members, strengthening our community through shared stories, experiences, and visions for the future.
Your participation is crucial in shaping the future of the Grandmother Collective. Together, we will ensure that our collective remains responsive, inclusive, and impactful.
Please register for the event at the time that works best for where you are located. We are a global organization and want to accommodate as many people as possible from around the world. Our virtual platform, RingCentral, will adjust to your Time Zone, so after you register you do not need to calculate time difference. (In Eastern US/ Philadelphia Time – the times will be 9am and 7pm.)
